Great North Run

Jack Plues of Pontefract entered the Great North Run to raise money in aid of the Dr Jackson Cancer Fund. He completed the course with ease, raising £270 which was presented to the Chairman and Trustee of the fund, Sir Bill O'Brien and Ian Bertie.

The Trustees and all the patients who receive treatment from the equipment provided by Dr Jackson Cancer Fund are most grateful to Jack Plues for his effort and donation; our thanks go to all those people who sponsored Jacks appeal on this occasion, and to all who contribute on the other occasions when an appeal is made.

We make an earnest request for more volunteers like Jack to come forward to assist in raising funds on behalf of the objectives of the Dr Jackson Cancer Fund.
